There was a short break from the heat of a typical North Carolina July, but as we're certain our young golfers would say, it didn't stay away any too long as increasingly high temperatures have returned this week. Still, 18 young golfers ignored the discomfort, grabbed their clubs, and joined our pros on
the course. Instruction and demonstration focused a great deal on swing mechanics as the young men learned what it takes to be an "accomplished player". It was a scorcher, but not to worry, they threw in a few breaks as the bridge provided a moment to relax (seen on the left) not far from the green.
